The active component of FLOVENT (fluticasone propionate) 44 mcg Inhalation Aerosol, FLOVENT (fluticasone propionate) 110 mcg Inhalation Aerosol, and FLOVENT 220 mcg Inhalation Aerosol is fluticasone propionate, a glucocorticoid having the chemical name S-(fluoromethyl)6a,9-difluoro-11b,17-dihydroxy-16a-methyl-3-oxoandrosta-1,4-diene-17b-carbothioate, 17-propionate and the following chemical structure:

FORADIL« AEROLIZER« (formoterol fumarate inhalation powder) consists of a capsule dosage form containing a dry powder formulation of FORADIL (formoterol fumarate) intended for oral inhalation only with the AEROLIZER Inhaler.

CUTIVATE« (fluticasone propionate) Lotion, 0.05% contains fluticasone propionate [S(fluoromethyl)6?,9-difluoro-11?,17-dihydroxy-16?-methyl-3-oxoandrosta-1,4-diene-17?carbothioate, 17-propionate], a synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid, for topical dermatologic use. The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as antiinflammatory and antipruritic agents.

Antara (fenofibrate) Capsules, is a lipid regulating agent available as capsules for oral administration. Each capsule contains 43 mg or 130 mg of micronized fenofibrate. The chemical name for fenofibrate is 2-[4-(4-chlorobenzoyl) phenoxy]-2-methyl-propanoic acid, 1-methylethyl ester with the following structural formula:

Gonal-f« RFF (follitropin alfa for injection) is a human follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) preparation of recombinant DNA origin, which consists of two non-covalently linked, non-identical glycoproteins designated as the ?- and ?-subunits. The ?- and ?-subunits have 92 and 111 amino acids, respectively, and their primary and tertiary structure are indistinguishable from those of human follicle stimulating hormone. Recombinant FSH production occurs in genetically modified Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells cultured in bioreactors. Purification by immunochromatography using an antibody specifically binding FSH results in a highly purified preparation with a consistent FSH isoform profile, and a high specific activity. The biological activity of follitropin alfa is determined by measuring the increase in ovary weight in female rats. The in vivo biological activity of follitropin alfa has been calibrated against the first International Standard for recombinant human follicle stimulating hormone established in 1995 by the Expert Committee on Biological Standards of the World Health Organization. Gonal-f« RFF (follitropin alfa injection) contains no luteinizing hormone (LH) activity. Based on available data derived from physico-chemical tests and bioassays, follitropin alfa and follitropin beta, another recombinant follicle stimulating hormone product, are indistinguishable.

Flector Patch (diclofenac epolamine topical patch) (10 cm x 14 cm) is comprised of an adhesive material containing 1.3% diclofenac epolamine which is applied to a non-woven polyester felt backing and covered with a polypropylene film release liner. The release liner is removed prior to topical application to the skin.

FML« (fluorometholone ophthalmic suspension, USP) 0.1% is a sterile, topical anti-inflammatory agent for ophthalmic use.

RiaSTAP (fibrinogen concentrate human for intravenous use) is a heat-treated, lyophilized áfibrinogen (coagulation factor I) powder made from pooled human plasma.

FluMist (Influenza Vaccine Live, Intranasal) is a live trivalent vaccine for administration by intranasal spray. The influenza virus strains in FluMist are (a) cold-adapted (ca) (i.e., they replicate efficiently at 25░C, a temperature that is restrictive for replication of many wild-type influenza viruses); (b) temperaturesensitive (ts) (i.e., they are restricted in replication at 37░C (Type B strains) or 39░C (Type A strains), temperatures at which many wild-type influenza viruses grow efficiently); and (c) attenuated (att) (they do not produce classic influenza-like illness in the ferret model of human influenza infection). The cumulative effect of the antigenic properties and the ca, ts, and att phenotypes is that the attenuated vaccine viruses replicate in the nasopharynx to induce protective immunity.

FIBRICOR is a lipid regulating agent available as tablets for oral administration. Each tablet contains 35 mg or 105 mg of fenofibric acid. The chemical name for fenofibric acid is 2-[4-(4-chlorobenzoyl)phenoxy]-2methylpropanoic acid with the following structural formula:
