Rocaltrol (calcitriol) is a synthetic vitamin D analog which is active in the regulation of the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body. Rocaltrol (calcitriol) is available as capsules containing 0.25 mcg or 0.5 mcg calcitriol and as an oral solution containing 1 mcg/mL of calcitriol. All dosage forms contain butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) as antioxidants. The capsules contain a fractionated triglyceride of coconut oil, and the oral solution contains a fractionated triglyceride of palm seed oil. Gelatin capsule shells contain glycerin, parabens (methyl and propyl) and sorbitol, with the following dye systems: 0.25 mcg - FD&C Yellow No. 6 and titanium dioxide; 0.5 mcg - FD&C Red No. 3, FD&C Yellow No. 6 and titanium dioxide. The oral solution contains no additional adjuvants or coloring principles.

CardioGen-82 contains accelerator-produced Sr-82 adsorbed on stannic oxide in a lead-shielded column and provides a means for obtaining sterile nonpyrogenic solutions of rubidium Rb 82 chloride injection. The chemical form of Rb-82 is 82RbCl.

Sodium sulfacetamide is a sulfonamide with antibacterial activity while sulfur acts as a keratolytic agent. Chemically sodium sulfacetamide is N-[(4-aminophenyl)sulfonyl]-acet-amide, monosodium salt, monohydrate. The structural formula is:

Ranexa (ranolazine) is available as a film-coated, non-scored, extended-release tablet for oral administration.

RETROVIR is the brand name for zidovudine (formerly called azidothymidine [AZT]), a pyrimidine nucleoside analogue active against HIV-1. The chemical name of zidovudine is 3' -azodp-3'-deoxythymidine; it has the following structural formula:

Ringer's and 5% Dextrose Injection, USP is sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and electrolyte replenishment and caloric supply in a single dose container for intravenous administration. Each 100 mL contains 5g Dextrose Hydrous, USP*; 860 mg of Sodium Chloride, USP (NaCl); 33 mg of Calcium Chloride, USP (CaCl22H2O); and 30 mg of Potassium Chloride, USP (KCl). It contains no antimicrobial agents. The pH is 4.0 (3.5 to 6.5).

REGLAN ODT (metoclopramide orally disintegrating tablets) is an orally administered formulation of metoclopramide which disintegrates on the tongue.

REVIA (naltrexone hydrochloride), an opioid antagonist, is a synthetic congener of oxymorphone with no opioid agonist properties. Naltrexone differs in structure from oxymorphone in that the methyl group on the nitrogen atom is replaced by a cyclopropylmethyl group. REVIA (naltrexone) is also related to the potent opioid antagonist, naloxone, or n-allylnoroxymorphone.

The active ingredient in DALIRESP tablets is roflumilast. Roflumilast and its active metabolite (roflumilast N-oxide) are selective phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitors. The chemical name of roflumilast is N-(3,5-dichloropyridin-4-yl)-3-cyclopropylmethoxy-4-difluoromethoxy-benzamide. Its empirical formula is C17H14Cl2F2N2O3 and the molecular weight is 403.22.
