Zagam® (sparfloxacin) Tablets contain sparfloxacin, a synthetic broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent for oral administration. Sparfloxacin, an aminodifluoroquinolone, is 5-Amino-1-cyclopropyl-7-(cis-3,5-dimethyl-1-piperazinyl)-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid. Its empirical formula is C19H22F2N4O3 and it has the following chemical structure:

Sodium Acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate injection) injection) injection) Injection, USP 40 mEq (2 mEq/mL) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, concentrated solution of sodium acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate injection) injection) injection) in water for injection. The solution is administered, after dilution, by the intravenous route as an electrolyte replenisher. It must not be administered undiluted. Each 20 mL contains 3.28 g of sodium acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate (sodium acetate injection) injection) injection) (anhydrous) which provides 40 mEq each of sodium (Na+) and acetate (CH3COO-). The solution contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent or added buffer. May contain acetic acid for pH adjustment; the pH is 6.5 (6.0 to 7.0). The osmolar concentration is 4 mOsmol/mL (calc).

Saizen® [somatropin (rDNA origin) for injection] is a human growth hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology. Saizen® (somatropin injection) has 191 amino acid residues and a molecular weight of 22,125 daltons. Its amino acid sequence and structure are identical to the dominant form of human pituitary growth hormone. Saizen® (somatropin injection) is produced by a mammalian cell line (mouse C127) that has been modified by the addition of the human growth hormone gene. Saizen® (somatropin injection) , with the correct three-dimensional configuration, is secreted directly through the cell membrane into the cell-culture medium for collection and purification.

Sensipar (cinacalcet) is a calcimimetic agent that increases the sensitivity of the calcium-sensing receptor to activation by extracellular calcium. Sensipar (cinacalcet) tablets contain the hydrochloride salt of cinacalcet. Its empirical formula is C22H22F3N•HCl with a molecular weight of 393.9 g/mol (hydrochloride salt) and 357.4 g/mol (free base). It has one chiral center having an R-absolute configuration. The R-enantiomer is the more potent enantiomer and has been shown to be responsible for pharmacodynamic activity.

Mafenide acetate, USP is a synthetic antimicrobial agent designated chemically as a-amino-p- toluenesulfonamide monoacetate. It has the following structural formula:

SUFENTA® (sufentanil citrate) is a potent opioid analgesic chemically designated as N-[4-(methyoxymethyl)-1-[2-(2-thienyl)ethyl]-4-piperidinyl]-N-phenyl-propanamide:2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate (1:1) with a molecular weight of 578.68. The structural formula of SUFENTA (sufentanil citrate injection) is:

SecreFlo™ (secretin) is a pure sterile, nonpyrogenic, lyophilized white cake powder acetate salt of secretin, a peptide hormone. Secretin has an amino acid sequence identical to the naturally occurring porcine secretin consisting of 27 amino acids.

SPECTRACEF® (cefditoren pivoxil) tablets contain cefditoren pivox il, a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration. It is a prodrug which is hydrolyzed by esterases during absorption, and the drug is distributed in the circulating blood as active cefditoren.

Quelicin (Succinylcholine Chloride Injection, USP) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution to be used as a short-acting, depolarizing, skeletal muscle relaxant. See HOW SUPPLIED for summary of content and characteristics of the solutions. The solutions are for I.M. or I.V. use.
