Feridex I.V.® (ferumoxides injectable solution) is a sterile aqueous colloid of superparamagnetic iron oxide associated with dextran for intravenous (i.v.) administration as a magnetic resonance imaging contrast media. Chemically, ferumoxides is a non-stoichiometric magnetite, of average formula FeO1.44. Each milliliter of Feridex I.V. (ferumoxides injectable solution) contains 11.2 milligrams of iron and 61.3 milligrams of mannitol at a pH of 5 to 9. The formulation also contains dextran (5.6–9.1 mg/mL) and citrate (0.25–0.53 mg/mL).

TRIESENCE® (triamcinolone acetonide) Injectable Suspension 40 mg/mL is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory action. Each mL of the sterile, aqueous suspension provides 40 mg of triamcinolone acetonide, with sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.5% (w/v) carboxymethylcellulose sodium and 0.015% polysorbate 80. It also contains potassium chloride, calcium chloride (dihydrate), magnesium chloride (hexahydrate), sodium acetate (trihydrate), sodium citrate (dihydrate) and water for injection. Sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid may be present to adjust pH to a target value 6 - 7.5.

Bicillin L-A (penicillin G benzathine injectable suspension) is available for deep intramuscular injection. Prnicillin G benzathin is prepared by the reaction of dibenzylethylene diamine with two molecules of penicillin G. It is chemically designated as (2S,5R,6R)-3,3-Dimethyl-7-oxo-6-(2-phenylacetamido)-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-2-carboxylic acid compound with N,N'-dibenzylethylenediamine (2:1), tetrahydrate. CELESTONE® SOLUSPAN® * (betamethasone injectable suspension) Injectable Suspension is a sterile aqueous suspension containing 3 mg per milliliter betamethasone, as betamethasone sodium phosphate, and 3 mg per milliliter betamethasone acetate. Inactive ingredients per mL: 7.1 mg dibasic sodium phosphate; 3.4 mg monobasic sodium phosphate; 0.1 mg edetate disodium; and 0.2 mg benzalkonium chloride as preservative. The pH is adjusted to between 6.8 and 7.2.

EXPAREL is a sterile, non-pyrogenic white to off-white preservative-free aqueous suspension of multivesicular liposomes (DepoFoam® drug delivery system) containing bupivacaine. Bupivacaine is present at a concentration of 13.3 mg/mL. After injection of EXPAREL into soft tissue, bupivacaine is released from the multivesicular liposomes over a period of time.

ZYPREXA RELPREVV (olanzapine extended release injectable suspension) is an atypical antipsychotic that belongs to the thienobenzodiazepine class.
