ACULAR LS™ (ketorolac tromethamine ophthalmic solution) 0.4% is a member of the pyrrolo-pyrrole group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for ophthalmic use.

STATICIN (erythromycin topical solution 1.5%) Topical Solution contains erythromycin for topical derma-tologic use. Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic produced from a strain of Saccaro- polyspora erythraea (formerly Streptomyces erythreus). It is a base and readily forms salts with acids.

COMBIGAN™ (brimonidine tartrate, timolol maleate ophthalmic solution .2%/.5%) (brimonidine tartrate/timolol maleate ophthalmic solution) 0.2%/0.5%, sterile, is a relatively selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist with a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor inhibitor (topical intraocular pressure lowering agent).

Aminosyn®, Sulfite-Free, (a crystalline amino acid solution) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for intravenous infusion. Aminosyn is oxygen sensitive. Five different formulations are available:

FOLOTYN (pralatrexate injection) contains pralatrexate, which is an antineoplastic folate analog. Pralatrexate has the chemical name (2S)-2-[[4-[(1RS)-l-[(2, 4-diaminopteridin-6-yl)methyl]but-3-ynyl]benzoyl]amino]pentanedioic acid. The structural formula is as follows:

Rhophylac® (immune globulin intravenous human solution) is a sterile Rh0(D) Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) solution in a ready-to-use prefilled syringe for intravenous or intramuscular injection. One syringe contains at least 1500 IU (300 mcg) of IgG antibodies to Rh0(D) in a 2 mL solution, sufficient to suppress the immune response to at least 15 mL of Rh-positive RBCs.1 The product potency is expressed in IUs by comparison to the World Health Organization (WHO) standard, which is also the US and the European Pharmacopoeia standard.

Heparin is a heterogeneous group of straight-chain anionic mucopolysaccharides, called glycosaminoglycans, having anticoagulant properties. Although others may be present, the main sugars occurring in heparin are: (1) ?-L-iduronic acid 2-sulfate, (2) 2-deoxy-2-sulfamino-?-D-glucose 6-sulfate, (3) ?-D-glucuronic acid, (4) 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-?-D-glucose and (5) ?-L-iduronic acid. These sugars are present in decreasing amounts, usually in the order (2) > (1) > (4) > (3) > (5), and are joined by glycosidic linkages, forming polymers of varying sizes. Heparin is strongly acidic because of its content of covalently linked sulfate and carboxylic acid groups. In heparin sodium, the acidic protons of the sulfate units are partially replaced by sodium ions.

Albuterol sulfate (albuterol sulfate inhalation solution) inhalation solution is a sterile, clear, colorless solution of the sulfate salt of racemic albuterol, albuterol sulfate (albuterol sulfate inhalation solution) . Albuterol sulfate (albuterol sulfate inhalation solution) is a relatively selective beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). The chemical name for albuterol sulfate (albuterol sulfate inhalation solution) is ?1 [(tert-butylamino) methyl]-4-hydroxy-m-xylene-?, ?'-diol sulfate (2:1) (salt), and its established chemical structure is as follows:

ISTALOL (timolol maleate ophthalmic solution) 0.5% is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent. Its chemical name is (-)-1-(tert-butylamino) –3- [(4-morpholino-1, 2, 5-thiadiazol-3-yl)oxy]-2-propanol maleate (1:1) (salt). Timolol maleate possesses an asymmetric carbon atom in its structure and is provided as the levo-isomer. The optical rotation of timolol maleate is:

CETRAXAL (ciprofloxacin otic solution) 0.2% contains the synthetic antimicrobial agent ciprofloxacin hydrochloride. CETRAXAL (ciprofloxacin otic solution) is a sterile, preservative-free solution for otic use. Each single use container of CETRAXAL delivers 0.25 mL of solution equivalent to 0.5 mg of ciprofloxacin. The inactive ingredients are povidone, glycerin, and water for injection. Sodium hydroxide and/or lactic acid may be added to adjust pH.
